The best free online universities for Masters degree

12:03 AM Posted by Unknown , No comments
There are many persons who are getting an online university degree these days. The online world has permeated to every angle of our lives, and that includes also in oureducation system.
The reasons behind the desire of people to get an online degree vary widely from man to man. Some persons feel that their lives are just so much busy that it would not be possible for them to attend in classes regularly in the traditional available way.
That is why the facility that Internet gives is so great. A student can sit in front of his computer in his own room and earn an online degree simply by studying online. There is no real need to put his life on hold while he furthers his education.
As i know that India already has a damn bad academic environment especially in IT and Electronics environment. There are very few institutes which really provide true education at Masters level.

Well, every other "engineer" you meet in street would give you random advice. But look at where they stand. If you'll be happy to be at their level, no one will stop you. But if you want true learning experience instead of just a "masters degree", real universities have no alternatives.

However there are a few cool courses at Coursera and Youtube channels of MIT and Stanford University which are being conducted by some of the well-known persons in their respective fields. They are cool! Though they don't give you a degree, I mentioned them hoping you're interested in learning rather than collecting a sheet of formality of education.

Let me point our why I support real academia:
  • You get an academic environment where you get inspired by peers, seniors and professors who are already at top of the field.
  • You get acquainted and can participate in the research and development work going on in research labs of good universities.
  • If you do it pretty well, you can visit universities/ industry centers abroad as a part of research or exchange programs.
  • You get chances to meet (again, if you are in a real good university) the guys who created the technology standards.
  • You don't study to pass exams or get a job. You study because you crave to learn and apply the theory in practice. Exam scores and job come in automatically.

Though I didn't try any online programs myself, still I must warn you of fake programs and worthless ones. There are similar "Distance Education Centers" of worthless universities in India too. You can get a degree and join a mediocre job in one of the "MNCs".

I hope useful imformation above will help you to understand clearly.
